The Dark Truth About Santa Claus
Now we enter into a darker aspect of the Christmas Season.
The diverse traditions around Old Saint Nick come from a few different sources. These traditions have been combined into the popular image of Santa Claus we have today. His very presence in the accepted festivities demonstrates the Pagan nature of this holiday and this ancient god.
In the Beginning: The Mer People
According to tradition, in Bavaria there dwells an ancient river spirit named Neck, Nikke, or Nokke. This nature spirit is of the same family of elementals as the Celtic Water Kelpie (aka the famous extra-natural water horses of the Misty Isles of Britain). These spirits are directly related to the Mermen and Mermaids of Triton (and elsewhere). The collective family name of these lunar centric beings is the Mer People. The history of the mystical Mer People and their gods reach back to the ancient religions of Babylon. Some say even farther, to the mystical period before the establishment of the kingdom of Babel, and thence back to the Nephilim (Genesis 6:4). To appreciate the true nature of Santa Claus we need to understand these connections. Obviously such topics are debated and debatable. I'll try and be brief as I share my findings.
The Babylonian Gods Oannes and Dagon
The Babylonian god Oannes was widely worshiped around 5000 B.C.E. in many different geographic areas of the ancient world. He appears to have been one of the original gods of Babel according to most experts in the field. Through Oannes we pick up our trail to Old Saint Nick.
The renown Jewish scholar Rashi confirmed that Oannes is the same god as Dagon mentioned in the Bible. Dagon was worshiped by the Cypriot (Greeks of Cyprus) Philistines of the Middle East (from whom the Romans coined the term Philistia -- Palestina or Palestine. These people have nothing in common with the Arabs who usurped the name Palestinian in 1930's). Dagon is condemned at places like Judges 16:23. He was the chief god of the Philistine's 200 plus regional pantheon of gods. His origins are to be found at the Tower of Babel as Oannes.
If you recall the Talmudic tale of how Avram (young Avraham) smashed his father's idols and blamed it on the jealousy of one of them, that god was Dagon. From this realization Avram formulated the theological concept of monotheism, the then revolutionary belief in a single all powerful, omnipresent God. This realization lead to the establishment of Klal Israel and the Sacred Covenant.
You will doubtless recall from the Bible how the Philistine Goliath (killed by David) and his three brothers are described as descendants of the Nephilim ("Rapha" or giants) in the Tanach at II Samuel 21:22. Dagon was one of their principle deities and his worship arose among the Nephilim who survived the global flood (Genesis 6:4: ... There were giants [nephilim] in the earth in those days, and also after that....).
Dagon and the Mer People
Dagon was the principal deity of the Philistines, whose ancestors migrated to Israeli shores from Crete (and to there from Greece). He was a god of fertility and crops and also figured prominently in the Philistine concepts of death and the afterlife. Dagon was worshiped throughout the Canaanite societies into which Klal Israel entered during the Exodus. Of him we find this entry in the New World Encyclopedia:
The medieval rabbinical sage Rashi records a tradition that the name Dagon is related to Hebrew dag/dag 'fish' and that Dagon was imagined in the shape of a fish. The grammarian and scholar Rabbi David Kimchi (thirteenth century) added: "It is said that Dagon, from his navel down, had the form of a fish (whence his name, Dagon), and from his navel up, the form of a man, as it is said, his two hands were cut off."Rashi therefore points out that the Hebrew word dag or 'fish' is the root of the name Dagon, which reveals much about his worship and origins. Rashi draws a direct connection between Dagon and Oannes (see the image to the right). Through Dagon therefore we discover the path through which the Babylonian/Nicolaitan heresy advanced and eventually co-opted the Jewish reform movement of the historic Y'shua (Jesus). Old Nick/Santa is a god of this heretical movement.
Images of Oannes (to the left) and Dagon typically show him wrapped about in a fish scale cloak or as a complete Merman. This i conically identifies them both as moon gods -- like the Arab god Hubal-Sin (now more commonly known as the allah of Islam: chief god of the 360 Arab gods of the Mecca Ka'aba -- as well as gods of the seas arising from the Great Flood). This connection establishes a direct link between Oannes and Dagon, between the Mer people and what came next. Lets look a bit deeper into this before continuing.
Oannes and Atargatis
The consort of Oannes is Atargatis (to the right) who is also known to the Greeks as Derketo. Atargatis was originally a Semitic moon goddess of the Ishmaelites (i.e. the descendants of Avraham's son with Hagar, Ishmael once he and his people abandoned the God of Avraham), the Syrians and others. She is the first known Mermaid. She had a fish tail and fish were sacred to her. Tradition holds that Atargatis and Oannes were the parents of semi-historic Queen Semiramis, the Assyrian queen of Babylon, for whom the famous Hanging Gardens of Babylon were built. While portions of her legacy may be myth she was an historic person.
Babylon, you will recall, was the first of the four world empires discussed by Prophet Daniel in chapter two of his book as I discuss Here.

Founders of the Nicolaitan Movement
For those who accept the writings of John the Beloved, the description of "Babylon the Great" has a significant role to play in earth's future. For now we'll draw back from too much detail on this as it would take us too far afield from our topic. For my Jewish readers, please understand that in order to understand these Christian customs we must understand the religion that spawned them.
Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.These connections are not coincidental. As Shlomo the Wise said, "there is nothing new under the sun" (Ecclesiastes 1:9). The Jewish people are being attacked by the same enemies today as in the Tanakh: The Nicolaitans and the Ishmaelites. No wonder John warns the Jewish people to flee from her! (Revelation 18:4).
What has all this got to do with Santa Claus? Everything! The Nicolaitan god is still seated upon the reindeer drawn sled awaiting his ascendancy to the global throne!
So, to tie this all together:
The Bavarian Merovingian Global Elite trace their roots to Merovech, shown to the left triumphantly emerging from the sea (Meroveus or Merovius in Latin and Merovee in French). One of his names is Merwich which could provide a link to ancient Mer People discussed above. He was the founder of the Salian Frankish Merovingian dynasty. According to their traditions, Merovech was born of a sea god after his mother was raped by a bestea Neptuni Quinotauri similis who "fell from the skies." In other words, arguably he was one of the original Nephilim who was born after their non-human fathers raped human women to produce hybrid offspring as recorded at Genesis 6:1-3. This is the historic origin of the Mer Lineage. Mero being the root word of mer-maid and mer-man. These beings survived the global flood of Noah's day.
Is this too far out there? I admit its a lot to grasp let alone to accept. There are however very powerful people who believe it and who continue to act upon it on the world stage. Grains of salt are invited!
If these things are true, the origins of this hybrid being and his offspring are also identifiable through the ancient Bavarian river spirits mentioned above. This title therefore directly references the progenitor of the Merovingian Dynasty as "Neck," "Nikke," or "Nokke": i.e. as the ancient lunar centric god "Old Nick" in the guise of a quinotaur: a five-horned sea bull (which is to say, as a "beast rising out of the sea" intent on destroying the Jewish people as referenced at Revelation 12:1-13:1).
This being can also be considered in terms of the Talmud's future despot who will be "more cruel than Haman:"
Sanhedrin Folio 97a: ...Thus hath R. Johanan said: in the generation when the son of David [i.e., Messiah] will come, scholars will be few in number, and as for the rest, their eyes will fail through sorrow and grief. Multitudes of trouble and evil decrees will be promulgated anew, each new evil coming with haste before the other has ended.'
Sanhedrin 97b: ... Rab said: All the predestined dates [for redemption] have passed, and the matter [now] depends only on repentance and good deeds...
R. Eliezer said: if Israel repent, they will be redeemed; if not, they will not be redeemed.
R. Joshua said to him, if they do not repent, will they not be redeemed! [i.e. not so] But the Holy One, blessed be He, will set up a king over them, whose decrees shall be as cruel as Haman's, whereby Israel shall engage in repentance, and he will thus bring them back to the right path.
