Thank you for your good news about your forthcoming Semichah from [Yeshivah For All Jews].It is interesting that the Midrash Rabbah on Parshat Nasso darshens the verse in I Samuel 6:16 where King David was dancing and swirling (מקרקר) as teaching that he cried out Kore Ram! Kore Ram! (The humble lad (kore) has been exalted!)
I bless you that in all your Torah teaching, the words of the prayer of the Torah student will always be fulfilled:
May it be your will, O Lord my God and God of my fathers, that no mishap should occur on my account and that I should not stumble in any matter of Halachah, but let my friends rejoice in me! Let me not call that which is impure pure or that which is pure impure; nor that which is permissible forbidden nor that which is forbidden permissible. And let my friends not stumble in any matter of halachah but let me rejoice in them! For "God will give wisdom, from His mouth is knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6). "Open my eyes that I may see wonders from Your Torah" (Psalms 119:18).Shalom and blessings

Rabbi Shlomo Nachman ben Yaakov,
I intentionally waited to bestow my blessing on you for the granting of your smichah. In the excitement and whirlwind of the day, most people are easily overwhelmed, and the things said become a blur. Now that things have had a chance to settled down and you have had the time to reflect on, shall we say, the gravity of what you have embarked on with this smichah, I now write.
Last week was Parshah Pinchat, in that parshah we find the origin of ordination:
Bamidbar - Perek 27: 15-20:
And Moses spoke unto the L-RD, saying: 'Let the L-RD, the G-d of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in; that the congregation of the L-RD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.' And the L-RD said unto Moses: 'Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is spirit, and lay thy hand upon him; and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight. And thou shalt put of thy honor upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may hearken.
Harken well to these words. Always remember that the Rabbi holds a great responsibility to klal Yisrael.
My blessing for you comes from the Talmud, Order Nezikin, Tractate Avot:
May you be cautious in judgement. Establish many pupils. And make a safety fence around the Torah.
May you be of the disciples of Aaron; a lover of peace, a pursuer of peace, one who loves the creatures and draws them close to Torah.
Always remember, if you have learned much Torah, do not take credit for yourself; it is for this that you have been formed.
May you be diligent in the study of Torah. Know what to answer a heretic. And know before whom you toil, and who is your employer who will repay you the reward of your labors.
May you run to pursue a minor mitzvah and flee from a transgression. For a mitzvah brings another mitzvah, and a transgression brings another transgression. For the reward of a mitzvah is a mitzvah, and the reward of transgression is transgression.
May you be one who learns Torah in order to teach, is given the opportunity to learn and teach. One who learns in order to do, is given the opportunity to learn, teach, observe and do.
May you be careful with your studies, for an error of learning is tantamount to a willful transgression.
And, in my own words, may you become the Rabbi that you desire to become and that G-d desires.
